VINTAGE WATCHES AND CLOCKS AT ARAB STREET SINGAPORE

This is an antique shop at Arab Street that sell vintage watches and wall clocks. The price quite reasonable and negotiable, 3 keys wall clock priced between s$600 -S$800. I found one interesting vintage Roamer boys size, price S$100 but when I checked carefully, the stem jammed, could not pull to change the hands so I decided not to buy, the rest of the watches were not so just Seiko5 and other brands which I'm not familiar with. Will try other places...

I went to Geylang Serai on the 2nd day after the meeting, around 6.30pm until 7.00 pm but could'nt find any vintage watches there... No luck

ISTANBUL FLEA MARKET AT GRAND BAZAAR

I went to Istanbul Grand Bazaar on the first day before conference started. It is so huge bazaar, can find a lot of gifts to take home, t-shirts, textiles, antiques and of course my favourite item.. vintage watches.

Not many vintage watches for sale, few shops and stalls and the price unbelievable.. expensive!!! Mondia with blue dial and sub-second for TLR750.00 (RM1700), Seiko Helmet for TLR550.00 (RM1200) and non negotiable! so I just looked at them......

Penat juga merayau-rayau dalam bazaar tu tapi hati kecewa sebab harga jam vintage mahal sangat nak haggle pun berapa sangat Pak Turki tu nak bagi jadi ambil gambar aje le.... Dalam banyak-banyak tempat flea market, harga yang berpatutan masih juga Portobelo London
