AUTHENTIC VINTAGE SEIKO 5 SPEEDTIMER BULLHEAD CHRONOGRAPH GENTS WRISTWATCH (SOLD)

This is my second classic 6138-0040 Bullhead Chronograph 5 Speedtimer that was made between 1975 and 1978. Some say that its sheer rarity puts its desirability, the 6138-0040 was one of the best JDM Seiko Chronograph ever produced, using 6138B automatic movement that mostly equipped the two registers chronograph watches.

The 6138 line are the highly collectible, 6139 sold in the 1960s and the movement was later improved with 6138A and 6138B in 1970's

Crystal is attached with crack-free ORIGINAL CRYSTAL-RETAINING RING NOT glued.
Rotating BEZEL 'n INSERT ORIGINAL BEZEL RING rotates in bidirectional rotation with clicks.

BRACELET/STRAP It comes with Stainless Steel non fishbone bracelet.

FAT SPRING BARS are used in this watch as Seiko diver should come on fat spring bars.
SERIAL NUMBER 777017 which dates production back on January 1977, is 34years old.
