Meaning "invincible" in Latin, Invicta watches began production as early as 1837. Founder Raphael Picard wanted to make high quality Swiss watches at affordable prices. The Invicta watch company began its history in La Chaux-de-fonds, Switzerland which is an area known for its watch making history. Swiss watches were highly coveted by many parts of the world, and Invicta watches began to pick up in popularity. The "quartz invasion" of the 1970s however, pushed Invicta watches out of the popular eye. Invicta watches all but disappeared in the wake of this new era. The history of Invicta Watch Group does not end in the 1970s, because in 1991 the descendants of the original Invicta watch name re-formed the company. Today, Invicta watch group is dedicated to bringing high quality watches that are still affordable and beautiful in design, which is eactly the same commitment that Invicta watches were known for more than a century ago when made by Raphael Picard. The Invicta Watch Group has evolved into one of the fastest-growing watch companies in the business and has sparked a movement that is turning back the balance of movements in the watch industry. The Angel, Pro Diver, and Elite lines are some of Invicta Watch Group's most popular series.

  1. Invicta is truely american, selling design and ranges of offer to suit every tom dick and harry's choice... but movement wise, not much choice to the producer (not manufacture) but to depend on Miyota Japan and ETA Ebouches of Switzerland... anyway, good collection. i suspect you are true one brand collector lah bro syed.
