This is a vintage diver style waterproof watch made by the French company Cattin & Cie. under their "Mortima" brand name. Cattin & Cie was founded in 1858 in France, but moved to Switzerland, I believe sometimes during the 1970s or 80s. I'm unsure if this watch was made in France or in Switzerland, but probably has a Swiss movement in any case. The face reads "Mortima 17 Jewels Super Datomatic Waterproof 100%"

In addition, there is a slight bit of wear to the plating on the back of the watch, but this looks much more pronounced in the photos than it actually is - again, IT CAN'T BE SEEN WHEN YOU WEAR IT

  1. Greetings from Argentina. I own a similar Mortima 17 jewels SuperDatomatic Waterproof with blue background. Can you provide me some info about the watch. How good they are? Price?

    Thx!
